You hit the wall switch, but nothing happens. Your shade won't budge, light floods in, and the sun starts to heat your rig. This motor restores switch control so your shade moves at your command again.
You hit the wall switch expecting your shade to glide down, but nothing happens. Light floods in, heat builds fast, and the privacy you count on is gone. This motor replaces the one that quit, restoring smooth, reliable movement so your shade lowers and lifts at the press of a switch.
The 100.501 motor is designed for simple, hard-wired operation. It connects directly to a standard rocker switch, like those often used for windshield shades, or integrates with an RV touchpad control system such as Firefly. Once installed, the shade travels evenly and stops right where you want it, bringing back the everyday convenience of wall-switch control.

Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking together at this MCD Innovations RV Shade Repair Kit. It includes a nice switch and motor combo. It's an easily upgrade for your RV with this kit. It's a simple shade installation.
You get reliable performance and protection from UV rays every time you travel. It is designed to repair RV window shades with an MCD innovation switch motor. Now, as far as some quick dimensions on this motor itself, end to end, I got about 11 and 1/2, maybe 11 and 5/8ths if you count all these little protrusions out of the back, if you will, these little plastic nibs or whatever you wanna call 'em, sticking out there on the end. So obviously you have your wires, red and yellow, and there's a black and red one there. And then of course you have your switch sensor and everything here, all your clips, set screws, your end caps both left and right in black and beige.
So you should have everything you need for the upgrade or the repair. You even get a manual included. If you're not sure on everything, reach out to us. We're here to help you with the installation as well over the phone if you need. And you can always write some comments for us as well.
That's gonna wrap it up for our look together folks. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
Needed to replace our MCD front shade motor (Class A, Holiday Rambler) part # MCD.SC.28-12V.1. Our shade tube is an older MCD style hence the collar and drive disk needed to be swapped. As the replacement motor's drive shaft is a few thousands larger, a small bit of filing was necessary for fitting the drive disk. Full function has restored!
This is my second purchase of this replacement motor. If you have older switched motorized MCD shades, eventually you'll need to replace the motor. With a bit of swapping between motors, this replacement is the one.
